Annual General Meeting and Spring Dinner 2010
You and your companions are cordially invited to this meaningful yearly event organized by the society. The AGM and spring dinner last year was a great success and I look forward to more supports this year. Details of the event are listed as following:-
Date: Wednesday, 17 March 2010
Venue: Jade & Lotus Room, 6/F, Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Harbour City, Kowloon.
Time: 6:15pm – Reception
6:45pm – AGM (members only)
8:00pm – Spring Dinner
Fees:
According to our Memorandum, at least 30% of our members must attend the Annual General Meeting to satisfy the quorum requirement. Please show your support by attending the AGM. NO FEES will be charged for attending the AGM. The cost of the spring dinner is as follows:
Early Bird registration (on or before 26 February, 2010)
Members paid up for 2010 (full / associate / provisional): $150
Student members: $100
Accompanying persons: $300
Late registration (after 26 February, 2010)
Members paid up for 2010 (full / associate / provisional): $250
Student members: $200
Accompanying persons: $400
Please note that seats for the spring dinner are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. To reserve your seats, kindly fill in the attached reply slip and send together with a crossed cheque payable to “The Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists Ltd.” to

For those who cannot attend the AGM but would like to authorize another member to vote on his/her behalf, please fill in the attached proxy form and fax to 3126 9980 at least 48 hours before the commencement of the AGM (i.e. before 6:45pm Monday, 15 March 2010).
